One of the new archetypes I have been fairly interested in is"Infernoid". In a way they are quite similar to the archetype "Dragon Ruler";which was an extremely powerful deck, played in 2013. They were ruthless; able to consistently summon huge monsters by banishing monsters from the graveyard, and they would xyz summon into Dracossack or Big Eye. They effectively played with their entire deck in their hand; their search power was that immense.
Infernoid aren't quite as over-centralising as Dragon Rulers, but they certainly operate in a similar fashion. They revolve around sending monsters to the graveyard in order to banish them and summon huge monsters (That can nuke fields and stop plays). Unlike Dragon Rulers, Infernoid decks tend to summon synchro monsters as opposed to Xyzs.
Not so long ago I only had experience going against "Infernoid" decks, I had no idea how to build them. So I went online looking for some "Inspiration"; effectively I "netdecked" a deck made by Josh Stys, showcased on: http://yugiohtopdecks.com/

As you have probably noticed, there are quite a few "Lightsworn" monsters in this deck. This is because the deck relies so heavily on getting cards to the graveyard it needs the extra boost the Lightsworns give it.
If you read have read the effects of the Infernoid monsters, you will find that "Infernoid Decatron" is the only one out of the infernoids that can be normal summoned or special summoned by regular means. This means that the spell "Reasoning" (that this deck runs 3 of), is likely to dump a whole pile of Infernoid monsters in the graveyard (since they can't be special summoned other by their own effects, Reasoning's effect will continue to dump card to the graveyard until you get one that can be special summoned, E.g Decatron or Card trooper).
Since you know that the "Infernoid" archetype relies primarily on banishing monsters from the graveyard (E.g Infernoid Devyaty: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 3 "Infernoid" monsters from your hand or Graveyard while the total Levels and Ranks of all Effect Monsters you control are 8 or lower, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.), you may also want to know what they are capable of when they are out on the field.
- Infernoid Devyaty: When this card is Special Summoned: You can destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field, except "Void" cards. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when another monster's effect is activated: You can Tribute 1 monster; negate the activation, and if you do, banish it.
- Infernoid Onuncu: When this card is Special Summoned: You can destroy all other monsters on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated: You can Tribute 1 monster; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card.
- Infernoid Seitsemas: If this card attacks an opponent's monster, this effect can be activated at the end of the Battle Phase: Banish 1 card on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can Tribute 1 monster, then target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish it.
These are just a few examples, but as you can tell; they have huge destructive potential. Then as for the side deck, it contains both Jinzo and Royal decree (to stop traps) and Spell Canceller (to stop spells).
The extra deck contains a variety of synchro monsters that can perform different tasks: e.g Scrap Dragon for extra destruction, Leo is very difficult to get rid of and Armades for reliably attacking. And as you have noticed there is a good variety of levels here so If needed, you can summon something no matter what level of tuners + non tuners you get.
If you love decks that can not only stop the opponent from playing but also wipe the field at the click of a finger, this is definitely the deck for you.
If you have any questions about the deck, think I should add something or disagree with something here, please feel free to comment.
